In need of some desperate help right now

If you can see the image above, then you know how my laptop has looked these last few days. The LCD screen is broken and I have no way of fixing it. I'm typing this up from my PC, which I don't use nearly as often as the one above (especially for uni related work).

Thankfully, I'd saved most of my work before this happened, but there's still a bunch of stuff I haven't, which means I'll have to start over again next week when I'm at uni.

I went to the Apple store in my local area, and they told me that in order to repair the damage I'll have to pay $660 because my laptop is way past its warranty.

I really don't know what to do about this. I don't have the money, and I need to have a functioning laptop within the next few weeks because all my final work is going to be due by the end of the semester, which already means I'm going to have to spend a lot on print jobs. I've never been one to ask people for money, but I'm really just desperate at this point.

If anyone could make a small contribution, it would be much appreciated.

Really sorry for this guys. I know I haven't made any proper posts of late, and this is just adding to that. But I really want to do well this year, and this stupid accident is going to impede that if I don't save up enough money on time.
