I missed the internet...but then again, perhaps not.
So, I haven’t really caught up with Game of Thrones S3 at all this year. Though from what I gather, the whole thing has turned into one massive torture porn fest. I miss the show, so I’ll definitely get on it when I have the time.
Uni hasn’t been much fun at all this year, partly because my tolerance for people’s passive aggressive behaviour is wearing thin. And the other reason being simply because I’m just not confident that all those years of study will pay off in the long run. I know I have no one else to blame but myself, because I knew what I was getting into when taking on a career in design. The industry is competitive, everyone thinks they’re original/an artist etc. If there is the slightest chance that I will get something that resembles what I first envisioned my ideal job to be, then I’ll be eternally grateful. I guess one good thing that came out of all of this is that some of my work will actually be out there (the zine that I helped put together will be on display at Museum of Contemporary Art Australia this year) so that’s motivating.
Just spent the last two to three days going through the absolute worst parts of Tumblr and Fandom!Secrets and I want to kick myself. Why do I never learn?
That's all from me for now. Sorry I've been so inactive lately, as you can see RL got in the way. You can expect some more posts on here from me in the near future, on LJ too even thought I barely hang out there these days.
